Encanto Potash selects pre-feasibility engineering firm and provides operational update

Encanto Potash Corp. is pleased to announce the appointment of Novopro Project Inc. ("Novopro") to provide engineering services for its pre-feasibility study ("PFS") on the Muskowekwan Potash Property in Saskatchewan. The PFS is the next level of evaluation following the very favourable PEA completed in August 2011 and will comprise an initial 2.5 million metric tonne per year (MMt/yr) solution mine utilizing the significantly increased potash resource that was released on March 26, 2012. The PFS is scheduled to be completed in Q4, 2012.

Encanto announces significantly increased potash resource

Encanto Potash Corp. is pleased to release the resource results of a new NI 43-101 Technical Report being prepared by North Rim Exploration Ltd. ("North Rim") of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan on the Company's Muskowekwan project situated on the Muskowekwan First Nation ("MFN") Home Reserve and the MFN Treaty Land Entitlement lands ("TLE Lands") which in combination cover approximately 58,300 acres in Saskatchewan. North Rim has prepared the resource calculations based on the solution mining extraction method. Encanto has completed 7 drill holes and a 3D seismic program on both the MFN Home Reserve and on the TLE lands. A portion of the TLE lands located North East of the Home Reserve has only had a 2D seismic program but the Company plans to cover that portion with 3D seismic in order to further upgrade the resource.

Encanto Potash Announces Positive Outcome from Designation Vote

Encanto Potash Corp. announces that they have received the results of a second and successful Mineral Rights Designation vote which occurred Saturday February 25, 2012. This vote was in regard to the designation of minerals for the TLE and pre-reserve Muskowekwan lands which are in addition to the already designated Muskowekwan Home Reserve.

This vote will be held on February 25, 2012 on the Home Reserve of the Muskowekwan First Nation, near Regina, Saskatchewan.
